Dai WoolridgeEmma Randall (Illus)

$2.00

Paperback

In this delightful 24-page Christmas story booklet, artist Emma Randall has beautifully woven the 'really good' rhyming text of poet Dai Woolridge into colourful illustrations that will enchant children (and adults) of all ages. There is at least one tree in each double-page spread for children to spot. The story doesn't end with the first Christmas, but continues with a summary of the gospel over the last six pages!

Great Christmas Book
5 stars By Volunteer with Children's Ministries, Dec 29 2017
This small book is my favourite Christmas book at the moment. It cleverly tells the Christmas story (from Creation, through Jesus' birth and then his ressurection) through rhyme and amusing ways. It is written so that all primary school aged children would enjoy listening to it as it relates well to modern times. For example; "These wise men had travelled ever so far, but they didn't use Google maps - they followed a star." My church gave this book out to children who attended our Christmas Carols service as we thought that it would be enjoyed by children who currently attended church and those who don't.

Engaging and great message
5 stars By Rory, Dec 13 2017
Not sure what those other ratings were- this little booklet is a great Christmas give-away that also has a really neat animation you could use during a church service. Colourful and fun illustrations and a strong message explaining the gospel and our need for salvation. Probably aimed at kids aged 5 and above but little ones will enjoy too!
