Amanda loves hearing from her readers on Facebook and through her website amandabarratt.net.

Jennifer Uhlarik

Jennifer Uhlarik discovered the western genre as a preteen, when she swiped the only "horse" book she found on her older brother's bookshelf. A new love was born. Across the next ten years, she devoured Louis L'Amour westerns and fell in love with the genre. In college at the University of Tampa, she began penning her own story of the Old West. Armed with a BA in writing, she has won five writing competitions and was a finalist in two others. In addition to writing, she has held jobs as a private business owner, a schoolteacher, a marketing director, and her favorite--a full-time homemaker. Jennifer is active in American Christian Fiction Writers and is a lifetime member of the Florida Writers Association. She lives near Tampa, Florida, with her husband, teenage son, and five fur children.

Becca Whitham

Becca Whitham (pronounced "WIT-um") is a new author whose love of reading goes back to the days of hiding under the covers with a flashlight and a novel. Her love of history comes from those same novels where the past came alive. Her husband's midlife crisis sent them into the army, where he serves as a chaplain. Together, they minister to couples in trouble. Her passion is to see all marriages thrive through a clear understanding of Biblical principles. She is active in the ACFW both locally and nationally, won the first Pikes Peak Writers Contest, and was a 2012 Genesis Finalist in the Historical Romance category. She and her husband are empty-nesters who currently live in Oklahoma, but home is wherever the army sends them. She can be reached through her blog at becca-expressions.blogspot.com.

Enjoyable Selection of Stories
4 stars By Kirsty Pearce, Dec 18 2017
The majority of this book a really good read, my favourite stories were:

The Cost of a Heart: Reading a sample of this story what convinced me to buy this book, it was a solid and enjoyable read.

The Advocate: I really enjoyed this meeting of two head-strong personalities and how they ended up complimenting each other.

Love in Store: I completely adored everything about this novella, from the unorthodox heroine, the hero's realistic personal journey back to faith, to the healing power of forgiveness, and the wonderfully insightful and compassionate preacher.

The Outcast's Redemption: The very real menace provided by the villains in this story a good counterpoint to the sweetness of the evolving romance.

Beside Still Waters: I was surprised by how much I ended up loving this story; the villains were suitably evil, the romance beautiful, and the sprinkles of humor throughout a great addition.

The Princess of Polecat Creek: A fun romp I would read again, but one that also fell unfortunately short in the realistic department with its rushed nature.

Love from Afar: Ultimately a sweet story about having the courage to love and express it.
