The Tinker's Daughter is based on the life of Mary Bunyan. Mary was born blind and, to most people, she seemed helpless. But when a tragedy strikes, she is resolved to prove that she is not helpless. I really love the whole 'Daughters of the Faith' series, and this is one of my favourites. Great for girls 10-16. This is a must read book.

The Tinker's Daughter By Wendy Lawton 'The Tinker's Daughter is about Mary Bunyan (John Bunyan's daughter). This book is about how Mary learns that she needs Gods help. She also learns that she is not invincible. Being blind, she always wanted others to know that she could do things without help. It's a great true story! She also meets a gypsy group and spends time with them. I really loved reading this book! I highly recommend it! Your reviewer, Shekanah
