Meet the Author
Pastor's daughter Dee Henderson is a lifelong resident of Illinois, USA, and currently resides in Springfield. She believes that marketing books should be about the stories rather than the writer, so she keeps a low profile compared to many authors. Her background is in mathematics and computing science (B.Sc 1988) and she had a high paying job as an engineer before she moved into full-time writing in 1996. Her technical expertise has given her an unusually keen insight into the structural aspects of storytelling. The results are plain to see; since 1999, Dee has produced two bestselling fiction series - the acclaimed O'Malley series and Uncommon Heroes - as well as eleven stand-alone titles.
Dee's books brilliantly mix suspense and romance, and her characters undergo varied and interesting faith journeys that are integrated skillfully into the storylines. Dee's work has won or been nominated for several prestigious industry awards including the RWA's RITA Award, the Christy Award, the ECPA Gold Medallion, the Holt Medallion, the National Readers' Choice Award, and the Golden Quill.

Dee Henderson's O'Malley series will always be my favourites of her books - mainly because of the close family ties between the siblings. I love the way they are there for each other, no matter what. Their lives are not easy, nor are their journeys to love and faith, but rather than skimming over those challenges, they face them head on. I loved the detail in this one - the crime scenes, the mystery running through it as more and more clues were revealed. But mostly I loved the romance between Lisa and Quinn, especially after meeting them in previous books. Great story (if you don't mind the detailed descriptions of murder crimescenes!).
Ive really been enjoying this book series on the O'Malley family very addictive dee henderson is very talented and im glad that ive purchased the series as i cant put them down highly reccommended
I love Dee Henderson's writing and the suspense that she brings to her books. While Lisa is not my favourite character in the O'malley family, (mainly because of her career), there is still a raw essence about her that brings substance to the story and her desire to know the truth and pursue that is so powerful as she chases down a killer. A definite must read!
I found Lisa's job as a forensic pathologist interesting. It dealt with corpses without being gory. This book was a good mystery story while, like all the other books in this series, there is an underlying romance and a bit of suspense.
The Truth Seeker is the third of six books (not including the prequel Danger in the Shadows) in the O'Malley series by Dee Henderson. Lisa O'Malley is a forensic pathologist with a knack for getting into trouble and Quinn, a gruff US Marshall, is intrigued. When the two are thrown together on the case of a serial killer, romance blossoms, but keeping Lisa safe is much harder than Quinn had anticipated. And when Lisa turns up missing, Quinn finds himself drawing on all his resources to find her in time. This is another awesome book from Dee Henderson, and it certainly stands up on its own merit. However if you haven't read the previous books in the series, I would recommend reading them first.
