Thoughtful examination of various views of the world
4 stars By Hoa, Jan 02 2017
Sire examines a variety of worldviews and provides critique. This is an excellent Christian introduction to worldviews, understanding how both Christians and others see the world, and their strengths and weaknesses. Recommended for all thoughtful Christians.

Indespensable
5 stars By JT, Aug 02 2012
Sire writes in a very engaging, and fairly easy-to-read manner in this and over of his books. The Universe Next Door, in particular, is extraordinarily useful for those Christians who wish to understand the world views of most anyone you will meet in life. The chapters are organised very well, showing how the rejection of the Gospel of Jesus Christ can lead one's beliefs from bad to worse. I particularly found the chapter of eastern religions useful, as it explains just how different they are from Western thought. A must-read if you want to engage with anybody on an intellectual level.
