R. Ward Holder (PhD., Boston College & Andover Newton Theological School Joint Doctoral Program) is Associate Professor in the Theology Department, Saint Anselm College, Manchester, NH. He is a specialist on Calvin and understanding and interpretation of the Bible in the 16th Century. He is the author of John Calvin and the Grounding of Biblical Interpretation: Calvins First Commentaries (Studies in the History of Christian Traditions), The Age of the Churchs Reform:The Reformation, and Reformation Readings of Romans (editor).
