Lawana Blackwell is a full-time writer and the author of the the bestselling GRESHAM CHRONICLES series. A writing course at Louisiana State University rekindled her dream of writing, then she learned the craft of writing fiction under bestselling author Gilbert Morris. She and her husband live in Louisiana and have three sons.

I really enjoyed this book which was well told and pleases the romantic heart. The tale of a widow and her children in a country village where a number of other charters add to the story.

The pace at the beginning was a little slow but once the characters was established I was drawn into their lives. Great value reading.

I really enjoyed this book. There were a number of story lines within the book to give it interest. It was also good to read how different characters developed spiritually throughout the book.
If you enjoy general family type themes you may enjoy this book.
The characters are well developed by the author.
