Being transformed
5 stars By Tacito Pinto, Dec 11 2015
If you like biographies, this is a good book, a great and true story of an American soldier, from Italian background, serving in the Pacific during WWII which was a POW in Japan. It is encouraging to see how God saved this man and through the Holy Spirit, hatred could be transformed into love and service. More than surviving he met Jesus and thus abundant life.

Motivational book
5 stars By Joanne, Nov 30 2015
I really enjoyed this book for a number of reasons. I like to read stories from the war which are based on true events and I also like stories that contain important lessons in here. Throughout the book, I learnt a lot about Zamperini and his strong nature and I really admire his down to earth personality and his courageous character. The book is also good because it is quite small and isn't intimidating for less confident readers. Definitely a must read

An Inspiring Demonstration of God's Love

A wonderful story of how despite suffering and captivity, God used Louis Zamperini, an Olympian athlete, to change lives and minister to those who held him captive.

It's wonderful to see a Christian perspective on the life of Louis Zamperini!
5 stars By Cody, Jun 12 2015
An awesome, in depth Christian view of Loui Zamperini's life.
By the end of his life Loui Zamperini has been a mistreated POW a War hero earning the DFC, Purple Heart and Prisoner of War Medal and an Olympic Athlete running the fastest American time for his race! But he was also a devout Christian, coming to know God at a Billy Graham crusade.

10 star book!
