Excellent read for married couples
5 stars By Mikey, Mar 22 2017
Tripp impressively dissects our hearts with truth and grace in this book as we consider how we approach marriage and deal with issues as couples in a gospel-centred way. If you don't feel like hearing hard truths or wanting to reflect on your own heart in marriage, then this book isn't for you. But if you want to assess your heart, and see your marriage flourish for God's glory, then you got to read this book!

Excellent, grace-filled marriage book
5 stars By MatthewT, Nov 07 2016
In his classic, challenging, direct, pastoral, biblical, Christ-centred, grace-focused style Tripp presents a book on marriage from his many decades of experience both as a married man and biblical counsellor.
He draws on stories from his own life as well as counselling scenarios to take the reader through "6 commitments" for a stronger, grace-filled marriage.
Tripp is very quotable and line after line, paragraph after paragraph encourages and challenges at the same time. The strong focus of the book is addressing heart issues - very Tripp style - issues which are deep and only really exposed by the symptoms of the surface issues.
Although the book is aimed at married couples, the book would benefit serious dating couples, engaged couples and married couples. The heart issues he addresses are real no matter what stage of the relationship.
A great book on marriage. Well worth reading.
