Great Family Film
4 stars By Jacqui, Sep 18 2012
There are not a lot of films these days that are suitable for everyone in the family, well, this is one that is! A wholesome film and the faith of the young boy is manifested with his faith and trust in God. There is no evidence from conversations or actions that the family is a christian family, apart from the boy. They don't say grace, read the bible or go to church. Yet, it would be considered a christian film because the young boy (the main character) talks about the "good book" and talks to God. So you understand that the family must be Christians as you see a young 10 year old boy try to live out his faith. It is a lovely film and quite inspiring. It has a good tempo, and is not boring or slow. It is well produced and the quality of the filming is excellent. Over-all an excellent production. The only caution is for younger viewers pertaining to scary animals - or dogs fighting quite visciously; and this may be disturbing to young children.
