Who Do You Think You Are? (Participant's Guide)

Mark Driscoll

$14.99

Paperback

Pastor Mark Driscoll answers the one question you need to ask: Who am I in Christ? Being a Christian can be like driving in a foreign city. You try living on the straight and narrow but instead take a wrong turn onto the wide avenue of sin and temptation. In the process, you become discouraged and condemned, limping along in your faith?or giving up altogether.

But this isn?t the real Christian life. You can make a U-turn.

Pastor Mark Driscoll knows that the issue of our identity underlies our struggles in life. ?The fundamental problem we have in this world,? he says, ?is that we don?t understand who we truly are?children of God made in His image?and define ourselves by any number of things other than Jesus.?

Who are you in Christ? Among other things: You are a saint, you are blessed, you are saved, you are afflicted, and you are heard. These are a few of the fundamental truths that Pastor Mark explores in an in-depth study of Ephesians in the Who Do You Think You Are? Participant's Guide.

Features include:

  • 16 weeks of study that can be divided into two 8-week sessions
  • Studies especially designed for students and women
  • Inspiring ideas for putting what you've learned into practice

Excellent small group study
5 stars By Amanda, Nov 05 2013
This book is more than just a study guide. It includes 112 daily devotions (which can be used by themselves or to reinforce the study material), and 3 different studies - a small group study, a women's ministry study, and a student ministry study.

The small group study is very much based on the book and sermons from the Who Do You Think You Are series - it has an accompanying DVD that is used as an introduction for every second study. We are almost finished this study and have found it very good. It is based in Ephesians but has more a focus on our identity in Christ than anything else.

The women's ministry study could really be done by anyone and is more of a study in Ephesians as a whole. It is meant to complement the small group study (eg for women who might do a small group study with their husband, but meet with other women to study the Bible during the week).

The student ministry study is still based on the Who Do You Think You Are series, but the material is aimed at students and is less in-depth than the small group studies.

All in all, this is a fantastic guide to get the most out of the Who Do You Think You Are book, individually or as part of a Bible study group.
