Frequently Asked Questions

Customers are typically charged a 5% ticket service fee based on the price of the ticket. The service fee will vary between events. The service fee is built into the price of the ticket and is non-refundable.

Online ordering is open 24 hours a day. Our call centre, located in Sydney, is open Monday – Saturday from 9:00am – 5:00pm AEST. Calls received after business hours are directed to voice mail and returned the next business day. We accept Visa and MasterCard.

You must allow up to two weeks after the signing of your agreement for your event to be up online.

Yes, we can offer earlybird/pre-release tickets. Pre-release tickets incur different pricing. Please select this option in your application form.

We are currently unable to offer reserved seating as an inclusion. We hope to have this up and running in the near future.

Our eTicket service is available to be accessed anywhere via our website. You can sell eTickets from your local stores, church, venue, or your office. All you need is internet access, an email address to use, and a printer. Physical tickets can be sold separately through your outlet but will not be included in the ticket pool. For example, if the venue for your event holds 1,000 seats, we can allocate you a certain amount of physical tickets to sell separately (say 300), and the ticket pool will consist of the remaining seats (say 700). From that ticket pool Koorong is able to sell both eTickets and physical tickets as required.

Each event will have a limited number of available seats. This number is the size of the ticket pool. Each time a ticket is bought (whether physical or electronic) the ticket pool decreases. When there are no tickets left in the pool the event will be sold out. The ratio of eTickets to physical tickets can be adjusted as necessary.

You will provide us with the artwork for your ticket, and we will create the ticket in our ticketing system. Alternatively we can design the ticket artwork for you as a paid extra. When customers purchase a ticket through our website, they are emailed an eTicket as well as event information. They must print off the eTicket and bring it with them to the event. This ticket has a unique ticket code allowing it to be scanned or checked manually to ensure it is original.

No, if you choose to have physical tickets in your package, they will only be available for sale in-store. The only tickets available online are electronic tickets.

Once we have sold the first ticket for your event, you will receive regular email updates until the conclusion of your event.

If the event is cancelled or any other event occurs which requires Koorong to refund previously sold tickets, Koorong reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee per ticket, payable within 14 days by your company. This fee will be a percentage of the ticket price.

No, it is the responsibility of the event organiser to market and promote their event and drive traffic to the website. Alternatively, we can provide marketing at an additional cost. Refer to our paid extras options in the online application form.
